Finally an outdoor place that exudes back to normal summer feels. Lots of tables and options on drinks, visually appealing especially at night, a little mix up on some of our orders but the staff's friendliness make up for it. I would go back here as frequent as I can because of the good and fun vibes. Kudos to the organisers!

Best place in Brighton during the fringe
Brilliant festival ! Second time at it and absolutely loving it ! Great atmosphere, nice setup, good times to be had!
Loads going on at the Spiegeltent every year it appears. The space was especially well put to use in 2021. Lots of space for tables, some in the sun, some under cover. The ones under cover in the marquee to the back had sofas too, making them a very comfy way to enjoy your time.
Amazing selection of food and drink. You could order from multiple places due to the table service and single app. Cocktails, alcohol laced ice cream, vegan wings, chips, etc there was a lot of choice.
The Spiegeltent itself is fantastic feature offering a broad array of entertainment from local and talent as well as from those further afield. We saw a host of circus and comedy content this year and had a blast.
The only suggestion for the future would be to think more about the toilet situation. They're not terrible but at peak capacity the queues extended a fair way and past some people's tables, also narrowing the route to walk through to other sections of the area.
Not as huge as the Edinburgh fringe but still packs a heavy punch because everyone was knocked down at least until 3 am. Not to mention, great shows too!
I would like to visit Spiegeltent tonight for a drink with my friend. We were both coming for a long walk at Saltdean and decided to end our night with a beer. But security stopped us and they asked if we have any alcohol in our backpacks. We had only water. They didn't let me in as I was wearing Nike tracksuit bottom. Leggings was fine but tracksuit not...Staff was so rude, didn't explain anything and refused us to enter. So disappointed. I enjoyed Fringe past years and shared it with my friend who is new at town.
We stumbled on this place whilst having a random trip to Brighton and was amazed to find this really quirky small festival in Brighton. Loved it. Weather was great which I'm sure helped. Plenty of choice when it come to food and the little cocktail van, well needless to say was fantastic. If you get a chance 100% go and check it out.
